It started with me getting to sleep in until 9:30am, got up, got ready, went to the dentist where I was seen and asked to come back later to get the work done I wanted to have finished today. I come home work on my current project for a while. Get called back to the dentist early, get all of my desired work done quite quickly and at a reasonable price for being uninsured. Back home in plenty of time to get my baby off the bus on his first day back to school. I couldn't wait to see him, hadn't seen him since Saturday morning, he had a great day at school.
I talked him into the only food I had left for him (need to go shopping) by adding applesauce to my offer, worked like a charm, he loves his applesauce! Then around 7 I made my dinner as I was finally becoming un-numbed enough to eat finally. Then as I sat to eat my first real meal in almost 8 days, I noticed my son had fallen asleep in his "tent" (a blanket stretched from the couch to the coffee table) while I was in the kitchen for 5 whole minute.
My day concluded with a 2 hour nap to get rid of the headache and slight pain in my mouth, then some more work on my project and some reading for school tomorrow.
Hopefully another good day will be around the corner, there are never enough
